How it works!
Donate Your Gently Used Items
We are collecting gently used household items to both sell AND to creatively redesign or upcycle! Your donation will help local teens learn job skills, build confidence, and turn everyday items into something meaningful!
We are looking for things like:
home decor items
small furniture
baskets/frames
mirrors
lamps
books
clothes
art supplies
Mentored Youth Get Creative, Learn Job Skills, and Gain Confidence!
Your donated items can become something new in the hands of creative teens! Creative outlets give young people a way to express emotions, explore identity, and experience accomplishment. When youth take something ordinary and transform it into something meaningful, they begin to see their own ability to create, problem-solve, and succeed! Those small successes build confidence that carries into other areas of their lives. Items sold without upcycling help to fund supplies, thrift store space, and general program funding!
20% of proceeds goes to saving animals
When the upcycled or creative masterpiece is completed, it will be sold in the store or onine! 20% of the sale will go to a Colorado animal welfare non-profit agency of the youth's choice!

Mentorship
All youth participants receive mentorship that helps them build the skills they need to succeed in both life and work. Through hands-on guidance, participants develop essential job skills, strengthen social confidence, and learn how to navigate real-world expectations.
Our mentorship focuses on three key areas of development:
1) Basic Job Skills: Resume building, interview preparation, work expectations, professional communication, and job skill development through volunteering at the thrift store!
2) Social Skills: Confidence building, healthy communication, teamwork, appreciation for community, opportunities to give back to important causes, and relationship skills.
3) Career Connections: Direct access to mentors in specific fields, offering guidance, exposure, and networking opportunities.
By combining practical skill-building with real-world connections, we help youth feel prepared, capable, and supported as they move towards independence, all while helping support local animal rescue/welfare agencies!
